Film starts with scientist sprinting in panic through the hallways of the lab, trying to escape the wreckage and get to the exit. Some distance screams and shattering can be heard as the scientist keeps looking behind back, as if he's being chased. Scientist reaches the exit door but it won't open because the keypad is destroyed. After trying to break it open, slow approaching footsteps can be heard, so scientist turns around and gives up trying to open the door. Scientist looks around in panic and spots a weapon on the floor, he reaches for it and puts it behind his back to hide it. As he looks back down the hallway, the alien slowly steps out of the darkness and stops, staring at the scientist. As they both stand there for a moment staring, the scene transitions back into the past to reveal the same scientist discovering the alien when it was an infant.
The scientist looks at the alien which is outside of the building on the desert sand, reaches down and picks him up as if to comfort him. Their first interaction with one another is shown, seeming innocent. Time then jumps to inside of the lab, where scientists stand around this unknown creature, with clipboards and showing strong interest. Alien looks around shy yet excited as it attempts to figure out what's going on. As the lead scientist leans down towards the alien, the alien smiles and plays/taps on the visor of the scientist's hazmat suit. As alien stands back, it picks up one of the scientists' pens from their hand without touching it, making it float in the air with his mind. The scientists stand in astonishment and excitement as they begin to discuss what they're witnessing. The lead scientist and alien stare at each other positively in reaction to this discovery.
Scene cuts to room with chair that alien is seated on looking unaware and intrigued by the surroundings. A scientist approaches him with a small syringe, attempting to take a sample of blood. As he starts to put needle in alien's arm, he flinches and starts to fight it, growling with retaliation and biting the scientist on the hand. Scientists hold him down as he struggles, then one lifts hand up as if to strike him, as he does this, the lead scientist grabs his wrist to prevent this, then takes over at interacting with the alien. The scientist crouches down in front of alien and presents him with a small figurine toy of a dog. He is gentle with the alien and prompts him to accept the toy. The alien shows a bit of trust in the scientist, and smiles as he takes the figurine and looks at it. The lead scientist then gets the syringe and gently takes a sample from the alien, who accepts this time. Lead scientist pats alien on back, for obeying.
Scene cuts to the alien's room/cell, as he is sleeping in bed and has the small figurine on his desk. As alien sleeps, the lead scientist is in a chair outside of the room looking at the alien's blood results. The screens and papers reveal numbers and text suggesting the blood possesses a powerful/nuclear substance inside of it. As the scientist stares at it, another scientist brings in a small bile of the blood. Scene cuts to a small room with a metal table. A large solid block of strong and heavy metal is dropped onto the table by a crane-like machine. The other scientists surround as the lead scientist inserts the small bile of blood into a prototype pistol. He stands back and aims at the metal block, then as he fires they find that the entire thing has been instantly destroyed. The scientists react in shock but then proceed to clap and cheer. As the main scientist looks down at gun then looks over his shoulder with intense thought, shot of innocent alien sleeping in bed is shown.
Time jumps as it transitions to next scene, showing the next time they take the alien's blood samples. Alien is shown being lifted from bed as he wakes up, reaching for his dog figurine but being ignored by the lead scientist this time. Scientist carries him down the hallway as alien looks a bit upset. Cuts back to the room with the chair, where alien is sat down struggling once again. Lead scientist then steps forward again and offers alien a small figurine of a person/toy soldier. Alien looks up with consideration and accepts, followed by a slightly more aggressive injection this time. Scene cuts to later where alien is in room, with now two figurines on desk. As he sits there playing with them and using his mind powers to pass the time, door can be heard opening, and he looks down with dread as he knows it is another day of blood extraction. As he exits screen, shot remains on desk showing toys. More and more toys fade on screen on desk, as if he has been given more and more over his life, suggesting a lot of time has passed.
Shot pans right to show alien sitting on bed, but he has noticeably aged and grown a lot now, into an adult. He sits there, bending a spoon that is floating in the air with his mind. As door opens for a day of blood extraction, he stands up with fear and refusal, as if to beg the lead scientist not to take him. Lead scientist approaches alien and goes to grab him, but alien throws the spoon at him with his mind in a fit of anger and fear. Scientist becomes annoyed by this and strikes the alien, then aggressively yanking his arm, giving him no choice.
Shot of the large blood extraction room is shown as alien is yanked inside by scientist. Alien looks around at the room, which has large metal/glass containers and tankers full of the alien's blood. Along with this, rifles and pistols are on the wall, which are weapons combined with the alien's blood to deal extreme destruction and damage. Scientists active a large machine that has a metal bed attached to it, with metal cuffs, wires and drills etc. Scientists pull alien and throw him on there, holding him down as they activate the machine to lock him in place. Cuffs automatically close and tighten, restricting the alien. Also, a metal helmet from the machine is forced onto the alien's head, locking his head and neck in position so that he cannot move, as well as metal bars that keep his spine and body locked still. After a lever is pulled and dials are twisted, a giant drill looking piece of equipment lowers down slowly towards alien to extract his blood. Alien screams and cries as he suffers, and the lead scientist looks at him, purposely increasing the intensity and laughs.
After this short scene of the alien in the machine, a shot of his legs can be seen as he limps back to his cell/room weakly, as if he's going to collapse. He sits in his room at desk, looking tired, sad and hopeless. He looks down at his toy soldiers and dog figurine. He notices the dog figurine isn't balancing correctly, but the soldiers are. He keeps trying to rest the dog figurine on his desk, but it just won't stand up. After getting frustrated, he uses his mind powers to throw all the toys across the room. As he looks hopeless, he glances over at the toys and notices that the dog is now balancing okay, but this time all of the toy soldier figurines are scattered on the floor around the dog, collapsed over. The alien then has a thought as he finds himself looking at this and relating to the dog, who for once is now standing up, and this time the soldiers are the ones knocked over, looking defeated. With this in mind, he looks angry and focused. As he glances out of his room/cell window he sees a glass or bottle of water sitting on a desk. The alien squints and focuses on it. The water begins to bubble up as alien causes it to boil to a really hot temperature and increase in pressure. After a moment of this, the glass/bottle explodes/erupts as a result, with the water going everywhere. The alien then has an idea, and waits for the next day.
The next day the alien is escorted to the extraction room, and limps slightly still. As he goes back on the machine, the scientists lock him in again. This time the scientist interferes, and replaces the drill piece of equipment with an even sharper, larger, more painful looking piece of equipment. Then grips the alien's face as he laughs at him, along with the other scientists. Alien closes eyes and tries to remain relaxed. As machine prepares to extract, all the scientists gather around, while alien closes eyes and concentrates, with clenched fists. After a moment, one of the scientists' drinks begins to shake and bubble up, overflowing. Following this, more objects in the room begin to shake, and the scientists begin to panic. The machines start to warn of high pressure in the blood containers. The blood bubbles and fizzes up, along with everything else. As scientists run to the door to get out, alien clenches fist harder, locking the door with his mind. Lead scientist turns around at alien with realisation of what is going to happen. The alien is focusing really hard and the veins in his head/brain look like they're going to pop out of his head into moment. The tankers/containers of blood shake vigorously and as the pressure becomes too high, an extreme close up shot of alien's eyes can be seen opening suddenly, bloodshot and crazed. After this very short shot of the eye opening, a full shot of the room is shown. Capturing the moment the tankers explode. After less than a second of seeing this explosion begin, the screen suddenly goes black.
After the screen goes to black, the scene returns to the present time, as shown in the beginning of the film. This time the alien is perceived as the good guy, not the monster. The alien approaches the scientist angrily, as scientist pulls out weapon to attack the alien, the alien effortlessly disarms him with his mind powers and then drags the scientist across the hallway towards him. As the scientist tries to fight it and run back, the alien uses his powers to break the scientist's legs and keep him incapacitated. The alien reaches his arm back, as a sound of something being dragged across the floor can be heard. The alien stares the scientist in the face as he drags the heavy drill piece of equipment earlier used on him. He then picks it up and stands over the scientist. A low angle shot looking up at the alien can be seen, as he raises the drill piece above head and slams it down onto the camera, suggesting the revenge on the scientist.
Alien walks past, then looks at the exit door, then yanks the entire thing off with his powers. A large group of scientists/guards can be seen pointing weapons at him from outside. The final shot shows a close up of the unfocused alien's hand. The enemies and exit from the lab can be seen also. A focus shift occurs from the scientists onto the alien's fist, he then tightly clenches it as the intensity of music increases, then screen suddenly goes black and credits role.
